Road Trip....

One of my Besties and I went on a quick little road trip to Canberra to see Floriade, which is a flower show and a few other sites....we had a great time. There was plenty of laughter, mainly laughing at me as I am such a goose....plenty of talking and of course plenty of eating!!

It was great taking photos of flowers and landscapes and well what ever I wanted and it was so nice to relax and
not work to a schedule.....although I now have a mountain of processing to catch up on.

Although in all honesty it was lovely to come home and see my Husband and kids as I missed them terribly. I am truly blessed with having such a great and supportive hubby and wonderful kids and fantastic friends.....

A big thanks to Kylie for coming along on the road trip and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did....here are just a few photos that I took on our road trip, none of which are flowers but in fact a canola field we spotted on our way home.....Enjoy......

Baby Shoot..

The love of a family is life's greatest blessing

I had the pleasure in meeting gorgeous little Paris yesterday, and oh my goodness she was as delicate as a flower petal! We had so much fun in capturing her many expressions with a little help from Mummy and Grandma. I cannot believe how many different faces she pulled, some serious, some with interest, some with oh my who is this crazy woman with the camera and best of all huge smiles that spread across her whole face!!!!

I have had such a huge decision in what to show on my blog, as there are so many photos to pick from. I hope your family likes what they see so far and I can honestly say there are many more to come. As for Paris you were a dream little model and I loved meeting you and of course your big brothers who I will add are a handsome lot as well.....

Enjoy....

Family Shoot

"Love one another and you will be happy. It's as simple and as difficult as that."

Author: Michael LeunigSonia Tautz
I was thrilled to be asked to photograph a past client this afternoon.....little Zander.... I first photographed him when he was just a little baby and then again at his christening and now as he has turned one......oh my goodness he is even more handsome if that is possible!!!

He still has the most amazing blue eyes that when he stares at you its like looking into the deep blue ocean. One thing has certainly changed and that is there is no stopping the little man, he is a man on a mission. His little legs never stop as he wanders looking at everything around him with pure delight. This is a wonderful age as they find a little independence in themselves but are constantly watching their parents to make sure all is alright.....and I must say the sailor outfit was perfect....

I hope you enjoy the sneak peak guys and thank you for once again allowing EWI Photography to capture these wonderful memories in your lives!

Alex & Emma E - Session

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.
Lao Tzu

I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous couple on Saturday morning and we were truly blessed with fantastic weather....so combine a loving beautiful couple and sunny skies what more could we ask for.....we had a great location at our feet and we certainly made the most of it, walking from one side to almost the other....we had buildings, grass, pergola, water and a dirt track.....I am pretty sure we covered every inch of it!!!!

Looking through the photos of this gorgeous couple I am once again truly amazed at how love shines through into the photos we take. I know in my heart that this couple is flowing with love for each other and I wish them a happy, healthy and long life together.....Alex and Emma you are a wonderful couple and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak and there are plenty more to come....

Maternity Session

A new baby is like the beginning of all things, hope, a dream of possibilities

I was honoured yesterday in photographing a couple who are expecting their first child in 4 weeks time...its an exciting time of life as you begin the countdown to the next stage in your life....things will change of course but it will only get better. The love you share now becomes bigger as you welcome a new little bundle of joy into your life. You begin to realise that there is so much more to life then you ever realised and that you truly are blessed when you have your only little family. All the adjustments and changes that you will go through will be so totally worth it......

I can only hope you both can sit back and enjoy all these changes and soak up whats really important and that is the love you both have to share......I wish you a wonderful labour and look forward to meeting your new little baby....enjoy the sneak peak guys....

Wedding Fun....

You don't marry someone you can live with - you marry the person who you cannot live without~ Author Unknown

I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding a couple of days ago, of a lovely couple who on Tuesday are moving to Canada. Yes that's right Canada, hubby J is from Canada and gorgeous wife M is moving away from her awesome family to start a new life together with J and his wonderful family....

I know M will be dearly missed by her family but after spending a little time with hubby J, she is going to be so loved and have an unbelievably wonderful life. I have no doubts what so ever that they are beginning a fresh new start in their lives together and many adventures and happy times await them in Canada....

I hope you enjoy the sneak peak guys and may you both have a truly wonderful life and as the saying goes....may you live happily ever after!!!!!!!

Family Fun....

The only rock I know that stays steady, the only institution I know that works is the family.  ~Lee Iacocca
I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family on the weekend....They  were full of fun and energy and life for this mum and dad is busy and on the go , how could it not be with four kids!!!!!

We were also lucky enough to be able to use a stunning location on the outskirts of Maitland.....luckily enough for me it's too cold for snakes at this time of year so the only thing we had to worry about was stepping on cow poo.....the weather was gorgeous and the views amazing what more could we ask for.

Mum had one thing on her mind and that was to get just one good family photo, well Mum you can relax as not only did I get one good family shot I was able to get many......so sit back and enjoy the sneak peak and thanks for allowing me the pleasure of capturing your wonderful family......and to Dad I take my hat off to you as you amazed me with your willingness to go along with my suggestions. Thanks for a great shoot..

A big thank you goes to the owner of the property for letting me use their stunning location for this shoot....
