In family life, love is the oil that eases friction, the cement that binds closer together, and the music that brings harmony.
Eva Burrows

I had a family shoot at Redhead Beach on the weekend and let's just say that the weather was not kind to us....but we worked around it and also with it and managed to have a successful shoot. I have to say the family were troopers especially their 3 year old.

On the plus side we were able to take advantage of the great rock background and pockets of sand that were hidden between rocks and water. Shannon did tell me that she thought she was a jinx as it poured on her wedding day, Shannon your not a jinx as it wasn't pouring and we were able to capture your gorgeous family while dealing with the elements. Kyan was a dream to photograph and such a good little boy.

Oh Brett your probably right I'm not a weather girl....I better stick to taking photographs....enjoy the sneak peak guys.

Other things may change us, but we start and end with the family.-- Anthony Brandt
I met a wonderful family yesterday and had the opportunity to photograph them. What a busy little family they are with a four year old, a two year old and a newborn baby and throughout the session it was so lovely to hear their little boys giggles as they played with their Daddy. While their Mummy and I stayed and snapped a few of their latest addition a baby girl.

I have to say I was a little nervous about trying to capture the whole family as I have young children and know how hard and stressful it is to get everyone happy and looking at the camera at the same time. But well we managed and looking through what I captured I can honestly say I am very happy with the resulting shots as I  hope they are. I have managed to capture their little family as they are and them being themselves which is very refreshing....Enjoy your sneak peak guys and there are plenty more to come...

I love the photo of the two boys holding Annie their expressions are priceless....

Families are the compass that guide us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.-- Brad Henry

You all know by now how much I love photographing babies, they are never the same, they never follow a routine but to me that's all part of the fun!

I was lucky enough to photograph a handsome little guy and a much loved first born baby for a lovely couple today. I have such beautiful and friendly clients I am truly blessed to be able to do something I love.  This little cutie pie was so well behaved and almost let us do everything we wanted but there are always times you just can't get every pose....they do of course have their own minds and when they have had  enough they let you know.

He has such a delightful and serious face and as I have been processing your sneak peak I have realised he is going to be a thinker...A big thank you to his parents and also his doting grandmother....you can  certainly tell a muched loved and sought after child when you see them.
Enjoy the sneak peak guys and there are plenty more to come..

A wonderful Family...

While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about.
~Angela Schwindt

I know I have said this before, but I love my job! I was invited to capture some gorgeous photos of a sweet little baby girl and her handsome big brother today. It's not very often you have a two year old asking for his photo to be taken and to follow directions on where to sit or lay but this little guy was awesome. And the love he is showing his baby sister was so lovely to witness.

Baby Ava was a dream, I managed to capture some awake shots and then some really cute sleep shots. I was told she is nocturnal, sorry mum but I'm glad for my shoot she is as it made my job so much easier..lol
I could have stayed and photographed her all day.

I hope you enjoy your sneak peak as there are plenty more to come. Enjoy this time with your little ones it never lasts long!!!
