Home is where the heart is....

Other things may change us, but we start and end with the family.-- Anthony Brandt
My aim with my photography is to capture life long memories for my clients, so  when they look at these photos in years to come they can feel the love all over again and be taken back to that very moment that the image was taken. I want them to be able to enjoy the moment all over again and I hope that this session will evoke these memories for this gorgeous family in fifty years time!!!

This family is kept extremely busy with a two year old, a baby, two dogs, horses, chickens and renovations to boot.....wow and I have to say they take it all in their stride....and to top it off they are a down to earth family who were inviting and just down right nice. Once again I have the pleasure of meeting the nicest people.

Anyway I wanted to give this family a bit of everything in their shoot, e.g precious baby photos, handsome photos of their two year old and of course family shots. Well I am happy to say I was able to do just that and more. For the entire outside portion of the photo shoot I was happily greeted by Gretel, one of their dogs and she pretty much tried everything to get into the photos.... I succumbed to her pressure lol and snapped a couple of just her....as you can see at the bottom of this blog she is one gorgeous little dog and how could I not take any photos of her!!!    Enjoy the sneak peak guys.....and thank you for a lovely session.

Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever-fresh and radiant possibility.Kate Douglas Wiggin
I have said it before but I'm going to say it again....I have the most wonderful clients! They are friendly, welcoming and its just a joy to photograph their precious babies.

Meet little eight week old Ruby...isn't she the cutest. Those gorgeous eyes draw you in and make you smile. I didn't mind one bit that she didn't want to sleep as I think we would have missed out on her glorious personality. What a gorgeous day it was so we decided to take Miss Ruby outside to capture some shots amongst the flowers in the garden. She wasn't sure at first but soon worked  out that it was rather cosy in my wooden bowl and once again her eyes shone through and created a spectacular shot!!!

My job seems to get harder and harder in deciding what images to process.....enjoy the sneak peak....

Little Miss Alert...

A new baby is like the beginning of all things-wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities. ~
Eda J. Le Shan
What a cutie pie this little 11 day old was. Although she did not sleep for one second of her first professional photo shoot. Miss Olivia did however have us all fixed on her expressions and the way she placed her arms, hands and her face!!! This is one little bub that does not want to miss out on anything and is going to keep her mummy and daddy on their toes.

I definitely have to mention she has the most beautiful blue eyes, so why would she want them closed....This gorgeous little baby kept me on my toes and made me work for every shot...but you know I wouldn't have had it any other way!!!!   I have to say that I'm having trouble narrowing down what shots to process because of how many different expressions she gave me.

I hope you enjoy the sneak peak guys...

L & L E-Session...

Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Today I captured some wonderful photographs of a gorgeous couple. What a great couple and I am so looking forward to photographing their wedding!
How in love do they look!!!! As you can see we were able to utilise the fantastic light and the wonderful natural backdrop at Redhead Beach. They never complained once even when they were getting splashed with waves and sucked into the wet sand...such troopers!!
Thanks guys I hope you enjoy your sneak peak and there are plenty more to come....

The love of a family...

"Love is something eternal, the aspect may change, but not the essence."
   Vincent van Gogh
I had the opportunity to photograph a gorgeous family yesterday. They had two cute little boys, one 4 years old and the other 10 days....aawww. I must say that big brother was such a good little helper and doted on his baby brother...

It always amazes me that when you photograph babies they are pretty much in control! If they don't want to  be put into a pose they certainly tell you and I never force a baby as its stressful for them and ultimately stressful for the parents. I want both the parents and the babies to enjoy themselves as this is when you get the greatest shots.

Although you may not get the shot you set out to achieve, this is the time when you get the best shots showing the love and bond between parent and baby. I have to say the following shots with parent and baby sent shivers up and down my spine, as you can feel the love as much as seeing the love and when they look back at these shots in years to come they too will feel the strong emotion of unconditional love between them and their child and be reminded all over again of this special day.....

Enjoy your sneak peak guys and thank you for inviting me to capture these once in a lifetime moments!!!!

Dreary days calls for some floral magic...

No one is in control of your happiness but you; therefore, you have the power to change anything about yourself or your life that you want to change.
 Barbara de Angelis

The last few days have been pretty miserable weather wise, so what better way to make you feel a whole lot better then spending some time photographing gorgeous roses. These roses are double bloom white with a hint of pink on the edges of the petals.....I had fun trying out different editing techniques and different crops.

Check them out and I hope they bring you some joy and happiness....God Bless Everyone!!!!
