A Model in the Making....

"A daughter is a miracle that never ceases to be miraculous… full of beauty and forever beautiful… loving and caring and truly amazing."

Author: - Deanna Beisser
I had the honour in meeting this gorgeous little princess today, Oh my she was such a dream little model and made my job so so easy.....Thank you Miss Maddie..

She was so alert for a 4 week old and stared so deeply into my eyes and of course the camera. Miss M has chubby little cheeks you want to squeeze but I refrained myself and just went about my job of capturing some wonderful memories for her parents..

I hope you enjoy the sneak peak mummy and daddy as there are loads more to come.

Double the love and double the fun!!!!

It's double the giggles and double the grins, and double the trouble if you're blessed with twins.  ~Author Unknown

Firstly I would like to apologise for not blogging in awhile, somehow life has just gotten in the way....so to make up for it I have an extra special session to share with you all....

A little while ago I had a maternity session with a gorgeous woman expecting twins....well I would like to introduce Miss E and Master JR...they are so adorable!!!!! But wait that's not the best part, little Miss E looks exactly like her Mummy and handsome Master JR looks exactly like his Daddy. Now I ask you does it get any better than that?

Well of course it gets better as they are super cute, so so tiny and totally rocked the session....As you scroll through the photos,( and yes there are lots more than usual), you will totally understand why I am so besotted with them....now enough from me and off you go to enjoy these two scrumptious bubs....well go on off you go....

Mummy and Daddy I hope you get a kick out seeing your two bundles in all their cuteness.....and yes there are way way too many photos to come.

My Family....

"This is my family. I found it, all on my own. It's little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good."

Author: Lilo & Stich

I took my kids up to Coffs Harbour for a few days over the school Holidays to visit my family. We had such a blast seeing Nanna, Poppy, my sister and brother and all their crazy animals!!! My kids love going up there and spending time with their extended family and I love seeing the joy it brings my Dad and Mum to see their grandkids.....

We bombarded my sister's house for a few days and let's hope she and her dog Mia recover from our visit!! As her quiet house turned into a nightclub atmosphere while we were there...Kids screaming, laughing and running around the place and having fun with her dog...not sure who had more fun the dog or my kids...

It also gave me a chance to snap a few photos of my own kids in a fun and different place....and I even managed to talk my sister into having a few photos taken as well.....but the best part of the trip was getting a photo of my parents....I know such a simple pleasure but trying to get either of them in front of the camera is worse than getting my kids photos taken....somehow with the help of my sister we managed it and I am so happy that I finally managed it....anyway here a few photos of my kids and family for you all to enjoy..next entry I will put a few photos up of Coffs Coast taken from Mutton Bird Island, which is another story all together....

I told my kids to strike a pose and this is what they gave me...priceless.....

And this is my gorgeous sister.....

Family Shoot

"Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one."

Author: Jane Howard
Today I was privileged enough to be asked to capture a family photo of a wonderful but large family...22 people in fact!!! What a lovely family they were as well which makes my session so much more fun..and yes with all those people I meant fun.

10 adults and 12 kids and 9 of those kids were probably under the age of 6!!!! Oh my goodness lets just say with these types of shoots anything can happen.....With so many little people its impossible to guarantee that everyone will be looking at the same spot for any length of time. I have to be honest I never stress about sessions but with this one well let's just say I was more then a little stressed...

I am very happy to report that somehow out of all that kaos I managed to pull a rabbit out of my hat and captured a few awesome family group shots...not sure how but maybe karma had something to do with it!!!
I hope you enjoy the sneak peak guys.

now I never put any bloopers up but just to give you an idea of what a shoot like this entails here is a glimpse at 12 kids and trying to get them all seated together, looking at the camera and most importantly smiling....yep your thinking never going to happen from this shot..but take another look at the first image and that was from the resulting shot......aaahhhh I love my job....

I also have to say that the three girls in front of the playground equipment did  a fantastic job. They stood there patiently waiting for everyone else to get into position and didn't complain once....as you can see sometimes the shots that don't go to plan are actually the best....

Amazing eyes....

~ I have looked into your eyes with my eyes. I have put my heart near your heart. ~

Wow what a wonderful session today was with a gorgeous chubby little baby....I love everything about chubby babies, their rolls, their double chins, in fact its pretty much the only time in life that your not looked down on for being chubby!!!!!

Its not the only thing I loved about this little sweetheart....her eyes were amazing. I don't think I have ever seen such powerful eyes and the reflection from them were out of this world...if you look at her eyes not only can you see me but also her mummy....

She was happiest on her belly which was not a problem because pretty much every shot she had a different expression.....she is one animated and gorgeous little bub who had lot's of smiles to share..I hope you enjoy your sneak peak and there are plenty more photos to come...

Glowing Mummy to be...

~ Before you were born I carried you under my heart. From the moment you arrived in this world until the moment I leave it, I will always carry you in my heart ~
   Mandy Harrison
Today I was thrilled to be photographing one of my closest friends sister who is expecting twins in August, she is gorgeous and has that beautiful pregnancy glow about her and you couldn't wipe the smile from her face. We went to a gorgeous location to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air and I had such a blast capturing these special moments in Sara's life....

I think its important to remember that being pregnant is such a roller coaster of a ride and that sometimes you just don't feel gorgeous but I think when you see these shots that you will see the beauty radiating from this very excited mummy to be.I hope you enjoy this sneak peak and there are plenty more to come...

Sara I hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and I can't wait to meet and photograph your babies when they come, until then take care!!!

Sids for Kids....

So I had a little impromptu photo shoot this morning with my family.... lets just say I'm so glad I had my coffee before hand....this was  to show support of a wonderful fundraiser, SIDS...if you don't know much about this day I have put some information here on my blog post about it...have a read and then enjoy the photos..they will make you smile ....

SIDS and Kids NSW provides bereavement support for individuals and families who experience the death of their baby during pregnancy, birth and infancy. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, sudden infant death (SIDS) and the death of a child up to 6 years of age.
Through our key services of education, awareness, training, bereavement support and advocacy, we help support many individuals and families in their time of need. SIDS and Kids NSW focus is on awareness and education through programs such as our Safe Sleeping Campaign which has significantly reduced the risk of SIDS over the last ten years.History
SIDS and Kids NSW was established in 1977 by a small group of SIDS parents who were concerned with the lack of information and support available to individuals and families who had experienced the death of their baby. “Cot Death” was originally defined in 1969 as sudden, unexpected and unexplained deaths in babies and young children. Services have expanded to include support, for all who experience the sudden and unexpected death of a young child, as well as community education and fundraising for research, support and community education in the Safe Sleeping area. In May 2001 SANDS (NSW) (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Support) merged with SIDSnsw

Red Nose Day is SIDS and Kids biggest fundraising event of the year. It helps to raise vital funds needed to continue to support bereaved families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I might add this will be one of the few times you will see me on my blog....Remember Red Nose Day is on Friday 24th June, so what are you waiting for go and purchase one of their merchandising  products.. I dare you!!!!

My family supports this worthy cause does yours??????
